COVID-19 has exposed the weaknesses of Africa’s health systems and provided us with an opportunity to rethink through new ways to prepare for the future. This is why it is important to adopt a comprehensive approach, in which health is given full attention. Taking advantage of the platform we have at Harvard; we are launching the Africa Health Conference presented by the Harvard Chan Africa Health Students Forum during which we will explore a wide range of themes that meaningfully reflect the unique African health context, and opportunities to improve health outcomes on the continent.
