In order to succeed in a multi-disciplinary, cross-cultural field like global health, practitioners must be able to work effectively in a complex environment on problems that do not honor borders or disciplines. HGHI’s Intro to Global Health Workshop offers students the chance to think more broadly about their role in global health solutions. This workshop is being held Monday January 23rd from 5-8PM at 14 Story Street and includes topics such as:
- What is Global Health, including global health challenges, roles, responses, and responsibilities?
- Human rights and health, and preserving human dignity
- Understanding ethical challenges
Students applying for HGHI summer programs or funding are strongly encouraged to attend! Dinner will be provided, and this event is for current Harvard undergraduates only. Please register here.
