The Mount Sinai International Exchange Program for Minority Students

Interns work on research projects under the guidance of prominent international scientists in one of six countries in Latin America, Europe or Africa. Before interns travel to their assigned countries, they receive one week of orientation at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City.

The University of Pennsylvania’s Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics (LDI) offers paid summer internships for underrepresented minority undergraduates, or any other undergrads, interested in exploring the field of health services research.
