This summer, I am working remotely with amfAR and TRIAD Trust to perform research, data analysis, and preparation for qualitative data collection for 2 projects based in eastern South Africa under the Where to Care (W2C) initiative, an app that maps safe, local options for reproductive and sexual healthcare, especially for those affected by HIV, gender-based violence, and substance abuse. One of my major projects includes calling resource providers across the eastern part of the country to contribute to and build the Where to Care database and mapping service (record the location, service availability, appropriate quality indicators, etc).
