This summer, I'm working on the Health Systems and Immunisation Strengthening Team with Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance. My project is centered on creating a guidance document for Gavi's approach to Human Resources for Health (HRH), which feels very impactful. So far, I've been researching how community health workers can contribute to increasing immunisation coverage and looking into what Gavi's current investments in the field are. Throughout the summer, I'll continue this work but also take on side projects like thinking about sustainability and transitioning countries out of Gavi funding. I'm really enjoying my time at Gavi-- the organization, the Global Health Campus, and the city of Geneva are all incredible!
