This summer I am working at the Arnhold Institute for Global Health (AIGH) at Mt. Sinai's School of Medicine. AIGH focuses on technology, care design, and training to improve health outcomes through a community-level approach. At the Institute, I am involved in two projects: (1) Improving collaborations between health systems and community based organizations to address social determinants of health and (2) Assessing maternal health outcomes for vulnerable populations in Queens. Specifically, I conduct literature reviews for both projects, assist with the creation of a guide for the first project, attend meetings with various stakeholders, and complete administrative tasks.
