This summer, I have been working closely with the Patient Safety and Risk Management Unit. Since the unit is preparing for the first ever World Patient Safety Day in September, most of the work I do is related to supporting and executing this amazing occasion. I've worked with the team on a variety of projects, including developing the campaign, visual identity, and website materials. I've also been contributing to patient safety research, dissemination of a patient engagement toolkit, and event coordination. Every day I'm lucky to be surrounded by kindhearted and experienced interns, consultants, and staff from all over the world. I'm learning so much from everyone, and I'm also learning more about how international organizations like WHO launch global campaigns.
