This summer, I'm interning at Greater Boston Legal Services' Elder, Health, and Disability Unit. I research MassHealth, Medicare, and SSDI/SSI cases and assist with drafting legal memoranda, including court pleadings and legal briefs. I also perform client intake interviews, work with clients to resolve incorrect medical billing, and request and review medical records to find evidence for cases. When I'm not at the office, I do some policy work concerning health care access and work with the Medicare Advocacy Project (MAP) to contact legislators and perform community outreach.
