I am compiling resources for home visitors, primary care providers, and child care providers who work with pre-natal and postpartum American Indian women who are addicted to opioids. I have been researching the gold standard of care for mothers with opioid abuse disorders during pregnancy, attending conferences on opioid abuse in Michigan, touring the local tribes to learn about their culture, and shadowing home visitors.
