This summer I am interning in the executive department at EarthEnable, an organization based in Kigali, Rwanda working to improve health, quality of life, and the economy through the elimination of dirt floors. Within this incredibly supportive, inspirational, and fun environment, I am working to assist the executive team with some research and data visualization projects. Currently, I am conducting research into the health impact of living with dirt floors to compose a comprehensive literature review to help employees, customers, and donors understand the importance and potential impact of the work that EarthEnable is doing. I am also locating and working with company and general data in order to generate presentable and easy-to-understand statistics, graphs, and infographics about the company's impact, importance, and growth. I am so excited to see what the rest of the summer holds!
