This summer I am working at the Kaiser Family Foundation in Washington D.C. The Kaiser Family Foundation is a non-profit organization that conducts research and analysis of U.S. healthcare policy and the U.S. role in global health policy. I working primarily on projects for the Medicare and Global Health teams. My current project involves an analysis of Medicare Advantage plans. Additionally, I've had the opportunity to attend relevant events in D.C., including a congressional sub-committee hearing on the state of U.S. public health biopreparedness, and an event describing the progress of the PEPFAR (President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief) DREAMS partnership in honor of PEPFAR's 15th anniversary.
