This summer, I'm interning at the Innovation and Digital Health Accelerator (IDHA) at Boston Children's Hospital. At IDHA (aptly pronounced like "idea"), we're interested in how to develop, scale, and evaluate innovations in the health sphere. Through this internship, I'm learning about healthcare from the angles of business, technology and clinical care, as well as working on projects that are on the road to being actualized. My main project involves co-developing a pediatric artificial intelligence symptom checker and creating a business strategy to license it to hospitals in the US and China, thereby increasing access to personalized medical information and helping more people get medical care.
