This summer, I am interning with the Strategic Initiatives & Innovative Financing team at the Stop TB Partnership in Geneva, Switzerland. The focus of my work is on collaborating with the partnership's public and private partners to help accelerate innovation in the TB diagnosis and treatment adherence space. As part of Stop TB's Accelerator 4 Impact (a4i) platform, I am developing country profiles for several high-burden TB countries to assist innovators with the country-specific introduction and scale-up of promising, new TB tools. I am also leading the conceptualization and development of a new technology licensing platform to engage innovators whose potentially impactful technologies have “failed” or have otherwise not received the support required to move from bench to market. Each day in the office, I remain motivated by the partnership's vision of a TB-free world.
