I am interning with The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria in Geneva this summer. The Global Fund is a partnership between government, civil society, the private sector, and people affected by the diseases to invest strategically in programs to end these epidemics. I am working with the Community, Rights, and Gender department-I am analyzing gender assessments on the TB epidemic completed in multiple countries to identify trends in gender-related risks and barriers to care, and recommendations for programmatic responses to these barriers.
