This summer, I am working at University of Chicago's Urban Labs on the Supportive Release Center project. The Supportive Release Center is intended to be a soft landing for those who are just being released from jail. By providing those who are just being released from jail with service linkages and a place to stay for the night, the center hopes to reduce recidivism and improve the long term care of those who are in this randomized control trial. I primarily am working on the database development, procedure and entry, while learning SQL. I also am doing some data collection at the jail.
