I am working in the Sexual and Reproductive Health Branch/Technical Division at UNFPA. I'm working directly with Bidia Deperthes, the HIV Prevention Advisor, on a literature review of HIV prevention programs for adolescents around the world. The goal of this project is to create HIV prevention guidelines for adolescents in different country contexts. UNFPA focuses on evidence-based policy development and implementation, and it has been really interesting to see how my project fits into the UNFPA mandate of delivering "a world where every pregnancy is wanted, every childbirth is safe, and every young person's potential is fulfilled."
